Running for a Worthy Cause

I recently participated in a 5k race to support the Parkinson's Connection at the Cherry Hill Katz JCC. Despite being a bit of a slacker with my exercise routine the past couple of months, I managed to eek out a 1st place finish in my age bracket! A big shout out to my friend, Laurie Tompkins, Bancroft's Director of Risk Management and Katz JCC board member, who organized a successful event to rally support for a worthy cause.

Since 2018, the Parkinson’s Connection at the Katz JCC has offered classes, special events, and wellness groups to help people with Parkinson Disease as well as their caregivers and families.

We are proud to support our local community and charitable causes. We have regularly given away over 5% of our annual profits as well as many hours of volunteer work and we're on that pace (and more) for 2023.
